👉 The Valley of the Dead is a sprawling, undead-filled graveyard that marks the transition into Gehennom.
Location: The top-most level (level 1) of Gehennom.
Located immediately below the Underground Castle, you cannot enter Gehennom without passing through it.
Characteristics
- Layout: A massive, open valley filled with dozens of graves and three distinct temples.
- Inhabitants: The valley is swarming with undead: liches, vampires, ghosts, wrights, and zombies.
- The Temples: There are three temples on the level, one for each alignment (Lawful, Neutral, Chaotic). Each is attended by an aligned priest of Moloch.
